Polypipe Eco-Vat Indirect Rainwater Harvesting
System
Polypipe Eco-Vat Indirect Rainwater Harvesting System can be specified
to feed recycled water to a header tank, which then supplies all non-potable
applications. Mains water back up to the header tank gives a constant
supply of water, should there be a power failure or all the recycled rainwater
be exhausted.
System type is dictated by the client and site conditions.
The Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) Information and Guidance
Note No 9-02-04 "Reclaimed Water Systems" recommends that a
risk assessment is performed for each installation. This procedure would
determine if the appropriate controls would be in place for the proposed
water use.

Connections:
1500 to 27000 Litre net capacity storage tank inlet
and outlet sockets 110mm diameter to BS EN 1401.
36000 to 80000 Litre net capacity storage tank inlet and outlet sockets
160mm diameter to BS EN 1401.
Standard Eco-Vat tanks are supplied complete with a fitted tank connector
for direct connection to 25mm diameter MDPE service pipes. Connections
to larger diameter pipes can be accommodated.
Accessories:
GRP tanks are available capacities of 1500 litres
up to 80000 litres, in a single tank, are required.
Eco-Vat standard Wellhead unit and system controls have BBA certification
pending.
Wellhead Unit and system controls have individual system identification
number.
WRc approved Solenoid valve with current valid certification.
Control Panel, with run time indicator, visual indication of the system
status with the provision to provide a signal to a BMS e.g audible alarm
Stainless Steel Submersible Pump, located inside the tank.
Filters: Vortex Leaf Filter, 220 micrometer Floating Filter, In-line filter
with filtration capability of no more than 110 micrometer. Ultraviolet
(UV) filter (optional)
