Polypipe Civils, the UK’s leading manufacturer of ducting, drainage, sewerage and environmental systems, has announced the launch of the new Stormcheck "Vortex Flow Control Chamber" the latest addition to the sustainable drainage (SUDS) range of products.

This new product provides a prefabricated solution to storm water flow control from a developed site – successfully achieving storm water storage and attenuation.

The Stormcheck Chamber comprises of a prefabricated plastic chamber with an integral vortex flow control device, which regulates water flow through the chamber. This is widely recognised as being the most hydraulically efficient means of flow regulation.

The lightweight chamber design means that the product is easy to install and is operationally friendly, whilst being tough and durable. Polypipe Civils produces the chamber and Vortex Control Device to individual customer specification in a unique fabrications department. This saves valuable time and money and eliminates the need for on-site fabrication.

As with all Polypipe Civils products, rigorous testing has also taken place to ensure the highest quality fabrication.

The chambers are available in a choice of three designs – Non Bypass, Automatic Bypass and Manual Bypass. Chamber sizes range from 1050mm up to 1800mm and the choice of depth can be anything up to a maximum invert level of six metres. The chamber also offers the option of additional features including inlets and step irons. All chambers are manufactured to the highest specifications from A2 304 stainless steel.
