Polypipe Civils Ltd have introduced two new fittings into their BSI certified Ridgisewer System, these are Rocker and Stub pipes available in 750mm and 900mm diameters. 1.5,m and 1.75m long these fittings are ideal for providing a flexible joint close to rigid structures such as concrete manholes where movement due to settlement may occur. Previously this connection has been made by cutting a standard 3m length of pipe and then using a double coupler. The introduction of the new Rocker Pipes, which is manufactured to lengths specified in Sewers for Adoption 5 will make connections to manholes easier and quicker to undertake. This saves the installer time and money.

Polypipe Civils two new products are covered, as is the whole of the Ridgisewer system by BSI Kitemark to WIS 4-35-01 under Certificate Number KM55701.

The Rocker and Stub pipes are manufactured in highly durable polypropylene offering strength combined with light weight and exceptional long life.
